The Norwegian Association For Safer Drug Policies is the leading organization in Norway promoting drug policies that are grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights.
Our supporters are individuals who believe the current shame and penal based approach to drugs is doing more harm than good. Together we advance policies that reduce harms of both drug use and governmental drug control measures. We seek solutions that promote safety while upholding the sovereignty of individuals over their own minds and bodies.
A part of an international movement
The Norwegian Association For Safer Drug Policies is the leading voice for harm reduction and science based drug policies in Norway. The association has individual members from all aspects of Norwegian society. We work based on the five core policy principles of The International Drug Policy Consortium by producing briefing papers, disseminating key resources on drug policy, building the advocacy capacity of our members and partners, and by offering expert advice to policy makers and officials in Norway. In doing so we work with partners in Europe and elsewhere in the world.
